The Ladies 2018 golf season got off to a flying start on Tuesday 13th March with approximately 90 ladies partaking in a 3 Ball Shot Gun Start – ‘Champagne Scramble’.
The ladies were delighted with a different playing format and the opportunity to meet and play with different playing partners.
The fun continued into the evening with a lovely meal in the clubhouse and as the photos show below, there was a great turnout.
Lady Captain Ciara welcomed the lady members and wished them all a successful and happy golfing year. She welcomed and thanked Breda Tuite who presented the winners with the lovely prizes sponsored by SuperValu.
Ciara also launched the joint Captains’ charity with the 9th and 18th hole bunkers being designated charity bunkers. If you land in a bunker on these 2 holes you pay €1 to the Captains’ charity.
Upcoming events include the Mike Night on 16th March and the ever popular Fashion Show on the 13th April.

We can confirm that their will be a dedicated and exclusive Taxi Service for members of Skerries Golf Club attending the above function from 10.30pm to get you home.
Ciaran Gibbons has a 8 seater taxi . He will charge a minimum fee of €5.00 per person.
On the night their will be a book inside the main door where you can insert your name, where you are going, number of people and approx time you would like to depart.
