Our Course
Founded in 1905, Skerries Golf Club is a haven for golf enthusiasts. Nestled on the edge of Skerries town, less than six miles from the main Dublin–Belfast Road (M1) and a mere twenty-five minutes from Dublin Airport, this 18-hole parkland course promises an exhilarating experience.
For the men, it’s a challenging Par 73, while the ladies face a Par 74. From the medal tees, the course stretches an impressive 6116 meters (5284 meters for the ladies). Brace yourself for tough opening holes, undulating terrain, and lightning-fast greens. But fear not—the abundance of varied and mature trees adds character and definition to each hole.
And oh, the views! From the course’s pinnacle, gaze out toward the majestic Mourne Mountains on clear days. It’s a slice of golfing heaven that provides much-needed relief after conquering those initial challenges. Originally a 9-hole layout in 1906, Skerries Golf Club expanded to 18 holes in 1971 under the guidance of renowned Irish golf course architect Eddie Hackett.
Future enhancements are on the horizon as part of the Golf Club’s strategic review. Facilities include a practice ground, state-of-the-art short game area, a putting green, and warm-up facilities. So, grab your clubs and tee off—it’s time to create golfing memories at Skerries.
